We don't know what are this EMG designed?? I had Duncan Designed pickups in my DK-2 but I had changed them. They didn't be so bad. Do you know anything bout this 'EMGs'?? Are they active or pasive??

I have heard about EMG Select.. but Designed? Selects are passive. I'ld like to get some more informations about these pick-ups. If they're active, they are worth looking at.

One of my friends had those on his epiphone g-400 he bought them from a guy who replaced his ibanez pick-ups with dimarzio PUs. For all I know their passive (some kind of EMG HZ breed ), I heard it a few times it's good for metal and rock IMHO but they suck on clean and crunch.

IMO they must be crappy... EMGs are crappy so designed version must be worse

I think that EMGs are really good but my buddy has an Ibanez with EMG desighned pickups. TRUST ME THEY ARE REALLY BAD! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

EMG?? CRAP?? WTF?? If you don't like them you should write sth like IMO/to my mind... There's so much players who use them. IMO oryginal active EMGs are great. HZs aren't so good. Designed series IMO uses as a placebo for young guitarists...
