Post Vox V-847a Wah Pedal Help
Okay, so about a month ago I bought a Vox Wah (V-847a). I was so excited, so I take it out of the box, stick in a 9 volt and run the cables.

Press down with my foot, and phew. No change in sound. I click again. It mutes the signal. What? Click. Normal sound. Click. Silence.

This goes on for atleast an hour when I run away in frustation and gloom. Buyer's remorse for sure.

I come back in an hour, and click. Normal. Click. Wahhhhh.

SA-WEEET!

Click. Silence. Oh shit, I've done it now.

Click. Click. Click. Click. I try over and over but I can't get that wah to come back.

So I ship it back to MF's (I'll let you decide whether that's profane, or just those idiots that sell music gear.) Yesterday I get a new one.

Click. Normal. Click. Silence. WTF!?!?!?! Click. Click. Click. Click. Click. Click. Click. WaAaAaAAAaaaAhhhHH!

Sweet.

Click. Silence. Oh shit.

^^

So basically, either I've gotten two bad Vox wah's in the mail, or I'm just retarded at pressing my foot down.

Any comments/suggestions/advice?

Figured it out on my own.

The Vox requires a balanced out cable (going to amp, P.A. what have you) in order to do wah.

Hope this helps someone else, because the manual leaves out the balanced cable part.
