Post Tube Volume
Well, don't think this is one of those cliche "what amp should i get for $200" threads, basically I know exactly what I want outta an amp except I am concerned over pure volume, I am looking at the fender champion 600 5w amp. For the most part I will be playing at bedroom volumes, but I figure once a week or so I will need to compete with another guitar, could this amp hold its own with another guitarist, cause I am positive that a 15w tube amp would be way too loud for my bedroom volumes situation, and if the champion can hold up to another guitarist, could it hold its own with a drummer for the occasionally full out jam? In a perfect world I could get a 15w amp with a 5w switch, with the sound i desire, but beggers can't be choosers especially since my budget is 300 tops haha

5 tube watts thru an efficient speaker cab is loud.

thru cheesey inefficient speakers you loose a lot of that volume.
