Hey guys!

I am trying to turn my total dominance of all things Guitar Hero into actual guitar playing knowledge. I am looking for any pointers and whatnot on good websites (I have some good tabs and scales so far) and online instruction (I've ordered a video already, should be here soon!).

Anyway, I'm just starting out but blogging my progress from being good at the Guitar Hero game franchise to getting good at real guitar over here: http://real-guitarhero.blogspot.com/

So, again, what are some good lessons, tutorials, or online guides I should consider? Money isn't an issue, but time is and I don't have time for in-person lessons -- which are probably the best route, I know =)

When you get to an intermediate lvl I would recommend www.chopsfromhell.com check out their free online column. There is ALOT of good stuff there.

sounds to me like you have things covered .....all you need to do is practice.

If you search for tutorials and lessons in this forum, or even check out a few of the posts in the Lessons section there is some good stuff already posted.

I suggest the Troy Stetina series. He is a great virtuoso. He released a series of help books for metal.
