tenor guitars

I find tenor guitars really odd...I mean, they have a great sound, but they're a bit banjo-ish, seeing as how they only have 4 strings...and they can be both electric and acoustic

I was interested to see if any of you owned one, or have played one...and wat your favourite brand was
