so i've known about these affects but i've never really looked into them all that much. i know frampton, slash, and bon jovi were all big users of them but frampton really pioneered them imo. anyone know anything about these or have one for that matter?

I used to sell them at Guitar Center. I know a little bit about them. What did you want to know?
Oh, also, check out the guitar-work on the track "Pigs" on Pink Floyd's "Animals"...Great talk-box stuff there, too.

the guy that did video is actually a really good musician. i'm on his youtube channel now and he's got some really cool stuff. he actually plays guitar really well too

I've actually been thinking about making a talk box.....seems basic, small speaker, tube and then mike it.....Right?

Well...yes, but the speaker needs to be isolated and contained in it's own chamber.
