Post sx and agile guitars?
has anyone every played an sx or an agile guitar, if so any input as to the quality because i cant find any dealers nearby..
the site i found it on is www.rondomusic.com

heres a link to the particular guitar im interested in, but any input on experience with another guitar on the site can help

http://www.rondomusic.net/sjm62stoppbu.html

the cosmetics on this guitar call out to me, and it is very cheap..i was just wondering if any one at all has had any experience with this manufacturer. all that really matters to me is that the neck is of some quality, and that the guitars construction is not shitty like a biginner guitar. all the hardware and pickups i can change out(which is what i plan to do if i actually buy this guitar) its not that much for a guitar so i may take a chance...im not even sure if that website is reliable, they do have some stuff on ebay aswell so it may be worth a shot. i just think that guitar body is gorgeous

and if anyone says it looks similar to the fernandes vertigo then yes, it does, which i want the vertigo aswell and i want to try it out since i know a few dealers that carry fernandes....both those guitars are gorgeous i think

thanks

Some of their hardware is cheaper than you'd expect (and I already have the bar low for the rpice of the instrument). Still, they are a great value, and are a great gateway for learning and modifying and all of that good stuff.

(oops, that's for the sx stuff, Agile are really pretty good for the price)

I own an Agile 2500 P-90 Les Paul clone. I would say it's pretty damn good to be honest. It has the heft and feel of a Les Paul, but not quite the overall quality.

Since most manufacturing for lower end guitars are done overseas, companies like Rondo and Johnson and Sanatoga will buy guitars that don't meet the standards for guitar companies like Epiphone or Squire. You can essentially get a quality instrument, using the same woods and parts (but cheaper, knock off pickups) as the company it emulates.

I had my sister order my Agile for Christmas and she got me the P-90 pickups instead of the humbuckers (she knows nothing of guitars) but I am happy with it for the most part. As with all archtop guitars, there's the sweet spot for setups where there is no fret buzz, but the strings aren't so far off the strings it's near impossible to play. I've kind of found it on the Agile, but it's good enough to jam, and the fretbuzz isn't being amplified.

I'll buy another Agile when I want another Les Paul clone. I put it on par with the Epiphones, the horns are just a bit different, but they are just as beautiful using the same woods. Any flaws you might find are hard to find (I found a small nick in the Flame Maple, but the lacquer was smooth over it), and won't change the tonality of the wood. Just have a good set of Pick Ups ready to drop into it to make it just as good as any Epiphone out there.

I have an Agile AL2000 and an Agile AL3000 Prestige. I like them alot, especially for what I paid for them. I built the AL2000 into a cheap as metal monster guitar with some Mighty Mite pickups. I originally got it as a joke/beater guitar but it turns out I like it and play it quite often. The AL3000 I got because I played a couple real Les Pauls in the store and couldn't figure out how they justify the $2000+ prices. The Agile isn't quite as nice, but for $300 its not THAT far away from the Gibson.

I got an SX Bass for 100 bucks, upgraded it with parts from guitar fetish and ended up with a Bass that cost me around 200 bucks that rivals American series fenders AND it has all the features I want.

The Agile strat clone is incredible for 250.
