The cheapest are Warwicks but they aren't so comfortable in use. Schallers to my mind are the best Smile . They're safe, good looking and rather cheap. Don't play with Dunlops!!! They're more expensive than Schallers and worse than them...

Well, I have Dunlop straplocks on all of my guitars and they work VERY well. I've used those straplocks for the last 4 years and have had no problem. They may be a little pricey, but they're damn well worth it. I don't trust playing my guitars without them (yes, I like to go crazy).

I heard than Schaller's straplocks are good and in an affordable price. Personally I don't use straplocks.

You would probably change it when your guitar fall down from your strap... I use Schallers and they make what they have to Smile

I use Schallers, but you can actually use the rubber ring gasket from a bottle of Grolsch beer. It's a shade smaller than a standard strap button, so you have to force it on, but it's stiff enough rubber that the strap won't come off at all. It's suprisingly funny how well it works.

That said.... I use Schallers.

i prefer the dimarzio cliplocks. my guitar has been completely secure since there installation, and the strap feels nicer then almost any other ive played with.

i don't even remember what brand i bought, way back when, but i have strap-locks on my V and my RG 560, which were my two guitars i used to gig with.

they've never failed me, and they are a must-have.
