Once, I've playied on guitar looks like the last. IMO it is very comfortable. This guitar has really good access to high frets

I'm wondering how the first one sounds like.. only few small resonance holes.

I've seen B.C. Rich with really big resonance hole... This model is probably electro-acoustic

seems like they would be very very bright and hollow, but that may be ok if they are acoustic electric anyway

the third and 4th ones are both fenders. i don't remember the name of the 4th one but the 3rd is the stratacoustic. i didn't like the sound AT ALL. it just didn't do it for me... sounded to off brand and not like a quality guitar i know fender can make

I believe the guitar in the top pic is a BC Rich Electric-Acoustic with the emphasis on an acoustic that is to be amped for the optimal sound. I'm not sure of the model name tho'.

i dont really see the point. The may look interesting but the look like they'd sound very hollow and they dont seem to be very convenient.

 Solid Body Accoustic Guitars...
I engineered a show recently where the artist had one of these....
I was skeptical and annoyed thinking that it was going to be a mixing and eq'ing nightmare. It wasn't. It sounded amazing. Granted different brands are going to have various levels of quality. Just go to a music store and ask to plug it into a sound system, (Not a guitar amp) You want to hear how it will sound to an audience when it is plugged in direct. (Guitar amps tend to shape the sound and it won't sound the same direct.)

they sound like total crap. i played one of the stratacoustics and the telecoustics. it was the worst sound ive ever heard from a guitar. dean now makes an acoustic flying v too. i think its lame.

I own a Samik that is very similar to the first one, but mine has nylon strings. I can't speak for guitars I haven't played, but my guitar is all about it's electronics.
It has a decent set of active electronics in it. My guitar will never be confused witha high-end classical guitar, but for sturmming around it does pretty good.
Someguyin831's advice about plugging straight into a P.A. sysyem is right on the mark. It is a great way to test out the electronics in an electric acoustic.

I don't really see the point of them. The first one looks like it would sound like trash. Acoustic guitars were made a certain shape for a reason. Putting spiky bits in an electric changes the sound enough, let alone any kind of acoustic.
Give me a regular shaped acoustic any day!
