first of all, the name of band is Metallica not Netallica, the second - Orion is certainly not for begginers - just look on youtube for it, there are so many shitty versions of this great instrumental... good song for a beginner is f.e. Enter Sandman or For Whom The Bell Tolls. i can agree with My Friend Of Misery too.

I think old Bathory is quite easy. For example Call from the grave. Many songs of Darkthrone: Transilvanian Hunger , In the shadow of the horns etc.

ROFL...I can't express to you enough how that riff played very badly is permanently engraved in my head. I used to work for Guitar Center a long time ago, and I used to hear it (badly) every single FREAKIN' DAY! LOL.

hahahahaha. that's great. i'll be honest, i didn't learn the song until years into my guitar playing. i started playing something random on my guitar and a dude was like, that sounds like smoke on the water! i'm like, i wouldn't have the slightest clue. he then proceeded to teach it to me and i think, that was the last time i played it

hey man! what's your genre? what's your trip? if you are into new wave try U2 songs from the 80's... try listening to the cure if you are into the melodic feel and come clean with the 10,000 Maniacs... but if are heavy metal or rock just go for metallica... if you wanna test your technicalities then try INCUBUS...
