okies i have the 75 watt spider II line 6 amp and i cant find any decent setting i.e. drive,mid,trebel, chan volume amd bass settings....at the moment i have a slightly livable setting used but does anyone have any good setting for these amps that i can check out????

I've got a flextone III and the best thing ya can do with a Line 6 is just experiment. just have an investigate and change of sound of ya settings. look through all ya settings ya bound to find summat good that ya like. just don't over do it with effects or ya can make a good distortion sound turn into a mess.

Don't you think that you should create your own sound?? I always hated young guys who wanted sound like Metallica... I've never tryied to copy someone and I can tell you - it's better for me. Now, I can set mostly every amp in few minutes and it sound good for me

My saved presets are this:

A) Clean: EQed, Slight Reveb, Slight delay (to increase sustain). I use my bridge pickups usually when clean.
B) Same as C with light delay with option to turn up delay to make it real ringy and epic etc.
C) Overdrive on crunch settng, a little Drive goes a long way. You improve the sound more by turning up the mains. This amp is going to sound like garbage on any setting if you don't turn the mains up high enough.
D) Heavy Distortion. I Use the Insane preset (The one that isnt weird). I cut back on the Drive a little and add more treble to balence the sound a little.

Moral of the story, play it loud, mic it close. Use the EQs on any setting. You may use full drive on another amp, but not on this one. too much drive is very very bad for this amp.
