Post Question about climate/humidity affecting string life:
Okay. So, I live in Hawaii, and coincidentally, I live right next to the beach. That means I have to change my strings every week and a half in order to keep them in good condition.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand it sucks. My bridge pickup is an SH-4, and the high notes are extremely dry and thin with heavy distortion. I'm not sure if it's due to me wiring it wrong or dead strings.

Any suggestions on how to prolong my string life without moving to the continental US?
