OH YEA !
they blew me away too....did you read the review section ?
the review from the bass player talking about getting the unamplified tone that he loves from his amp was awesome.
i am going to order a set of these....i would have done it yesterday, but i just bought another Charvel model 6.
now if only i could play like the guys on the demo's

i will get guitar pickups....the super output and hi output humbucker set is what i want.
but i dont have a two 'bucker guitar that needs pickups...i DO happen to have an Ibanez 540S , and Charvel model 6 that could stand a pickup swap. they both are 1 humbucker and 2 single coil set ups.
i wonder if i can scrape up the dough to buy another 2 humbucker guitar (another Ibanez RGT42DX perhaps?)...AND a set of Q tuners ? ? ?
damn....there goes the 42" HDTV for another year !!
LOL
the more i read about and listen to the Q tuners the more i want them.....they have blown my mind (what little i have left) .
they remind me of the Lace Alumitones , only better !!!!

yeah, me too. and i guess we'll see how high that auction goes to see if they have a high resale value. you don't want to get some and then them not sound how you want them and you can't sell them. granted, i'm pretty sure we'll all like them

the trick to resale value is demand.....
most guitarists dont have a clue what a Q tuner pickup is....or any new, exciting, and revolutionary gear for that matter.
if "nobody" knows about them....its tuff to get a lot of auction action.
its all about education...sharing info.
lets get the word out , and all our guitar and bass brothers can have 1 more ingredient in their quest for tone.
WOW.....after a speech like that , i should be on the ballot in 08....i wonder if there are enough guitar players to get me elected ? ? ?
hahahaha....

i have been checking out the review sites for reviews on the Qtuners....
ya know ...a lot of guitar players are closed minded, and CHEAP !
i kept reading stuff like : " my old Gibson PAF's have served me well for years...why change? " , or " for $150 /$200 they better sound good " , "these things are ugly , they dont look like Fender pickups" , "NO WAY i am spending $150 on a pickup" ....ect .
i would rather pay $25 for a pickup also....but if the ultimate pickup costs $150....thats what it costs.
heck...a new Duncan or Dimarzio or EMG , ect are gonna cost $75-$100....whats another $50-$75 for superior tone ?
and why does a pickup have to look like a Gibson or Fender pickup ???
where is our sense of adventure.....
if we keep using only the same old tired guitars, pickups, amps, ect. that everybody else has been using for 50 years, how are we supposed to keep our music fresh and new?
like i am always preaching.....forget the brand names , forget what we "know" , close our eyes , open our ears, and our minds and HEAR what give us our best tone.
ok...i am off of my soap box for now....
i just had to get that off my chest.
sorry for the rant this early in the morning....blame it on the coffee !!
