yes....and fiddle with the adjustable pole pieces ....to find the best balance .

and if the pickup is still too muddy after tweaking it ... if it has pole piece screws that stick out past the bottom of the pickup , you can screw the pieces down about an eighth of an inch into the pickup , and snip the extra length off from the bottom.

then raise the screw back level ....that will brighten the pickup ,and even out the magnetic field.

you will have a brighter , more efficient pickup.

Life is busy, Chuck.
I had to call in sick the other day just to hang out with my kids.
Can you believe that?
I went from sitting on my ass wondering how to fill up my off-time to overworked overstressed and just generally overdone.
Funny thing is, I got promoted the day I called in sick!
I'm a Leadman now. $5 raise.
I wonder what position they would give me if I threw a fit and left in the middle of a shift!
