Post OLP Guitars
Ok, so they dont cost 1000 or have Les Paul on them but if you take some good pups and put in them, how good are olp's? I got one and I like it. Like most i dont have a grand to get gear so low cost makes me happy! Im always thinking, "ok, its not a 1000$ guitar or 700$ but if i get some pups and put in it...it will kickass!! What say you??

I've been pimping out cheaper guitars for years. I say that most big name guitars are high priced because of their name. All you really need is a good neck and a solid (not plywood) body. I do have some plywood bodies and they're not bad, but most want solid wood. Hardware and pick-ups can be changed out, so anything is possible with your guitar. You won't find me making fun of someone if they don't have a high dollar guitar.
