Thanx Brother Lawson. I just quit the Bloodfarmers though (just a few days ago). I play music for 1 out of 2 reasons:Money or Fun. I still have yet to make any serious money, so that doesn't usually bother me. The only bands I've quit is because it stopped being fun. I still love the music and the guys in the band, but I'm a family guy with a wife and kid and just came to terms with the fact that I can't be in a band that's still trying to "make it". I have no problem with the "starving artist, sleeping in your car" lifestyle, but I'm not gonna drag a kid and woman through that process. There will be "Nuke and the Living Dead" reunions in the Detroit area, but "Country Bob and the Bloodfarmers" will continue to play and tour anywhere they're welcome. I'm still friends with every guy I've played with and plan to keep it that way. I'll never put down my guitar, but as long as I'm "Married with children", I can't work on anything that's "trying to make it". There's so much sacrifice in that. That was cool in my "younger days", but not now.
