Gojira rulez man Got only two of their albums Link and From Mars to Sirius but it's enough to say they just destroy. My favorite song is Sirius and global warming what else can I say Morbid angel would be proud.

Gojira does rule... and Meshuggah just gets more perplexing with each release. I wasn't a fan of "Nothing" when it was originally released, but the remixed and remastered version is incredible.

Gojira = HELL YES!!
Love em
Man Id kill to see them play
Meshuggah are ok to a point
I like the whole odd time feel, and how unpredictable their songs are
However, listening to more then 2 or 3 of their songs in a row gets tiring and quite boring.
Makes you think a tad too much
Nad Ive never heard of the other mentioned bands

I've got myself the latest necrophagist realese (Epitaph) and I love it
It sounds alittle similar to the latest Death albums. If you like that kind of s**t try Martyr.

ABSO-FUCKING-LUTELY!!!!!!!
For almost ten years I was a metal dj in Vancouver and started getting a reputation as being one of the HEAVIEST djs in metal. Had a weekly 7 hour show called SHOCKWAVE, that RAWKED!!! Started at midnight with more mainstream melodic stuff, power, speed melodic metal, prog metal and as the evening wore on the music graduated into heavier stuff: Black Metal and then into the more extreme death & gore stuff. LOTSA FUN!!! Since moving back to Winnipeg ('bout six months ago), I'm finding that there's FUCK ALL happening on the radio in the way of metal. I've contacted a number of stations with proposals to start a metal program but have NOT rec'd ONE response!!!! SICK!!!! ANyway, LOVE NECROPHAGIST!!!!!

this is more noisecore but The Chariot and Norma Jean are freaking EXCELLENT.
They have some BRUTAL vocals. They aren't just standard "bree bree ORRR ORRR BLOOD grrrr." These vocals are very real but very heavy.
