I play through an older Mesa dual rec (with 2 channels). Dude... Honestly, I can't play anything else now. The tone you can so easily dial in on a dual rec, simply can't be beat. (That goes for all of mesa's rectifier series)
I will be trading up to a Mesa Road King!!!!!!
It's got 4 channels, and you can actually pick which tubes you use per channel. And the Road King Cab has 2 celestion vintage 30's, and 2 C90's!!!
Check it yo!!!

The only difference between the Single, Dual, and Triple Recs, are generally just the wattage. 50, 100, or 150. You don't use 100 watts. With the volume knob, the saying a little goes a long way really works with the volume on the Recs. Besides in a live situation, you're generally mic'd. Recording, you're mic'd. So it's a little much with the wattage. Rectifiers are LOUD!!! Don't let the knock offs fool you. Go play a knock off, then go play the real thing. You'll see a difference.
Have fun shopping!
