hello everyone
just to start of i am new on this site
i have been playing drums my whole life and i am have been in a couple different bands
i get bored during the practices in the band i am in now because the guitarists are always argueing about notes and stuff i dont understand
so i really dont do a lot of druming when we r together as a band
the reason i am saying all of this is because i want to learn guitar so
a. i have something to do while they are arguing and
b. so i have some idea wat they r talking about so i dont get a headache
i wanted to no if anyone could recomend a starter guitar i could use cause i rlly have no idea

you can find some great guitars for under 200 imo... and an amp for less than 150. as it seems that you are already into music, i wouldn't recommend a starter pack for you as you can probably find better elsewhere

Like guitarfreaky said you can get good deals on guitars and amps it all about looking and talking to work out good deals and what you think looks good for you. To know what the other guitarist are talking about you need to learn the theory behind the music. So you will want to either take lessons or take a theory class here and there. Now that said most lessons won't start with the theory so you may want both. Hope that helps and Don't let the fact that theory is very boring...lol
