 Learn how to play..
.. Solos.
I've been playing guitar for 13 months now, and I really wanna learn how to play solos.
I don't know if it's too early for me to play solos, maybe I should've played guitar for like, 2 years first or so.. But anyway.
I've been playing those fcking scales up and down for a long time now, but nothing happens -.-
I feel really stiff.. My fingers feels so stiff when I'm about to play solos.
Any tips how to learn solos ?
.. And dont tell me, "practice the scales".. Cuz I've done that for a really long time now, and I'm sick of it!
Some help would help

Hi Chris!
There is a thread here where a guy wanted to learn how to play a solo. There are some really good tips there:
http://www.guitarmylife.com/speed-training-vt1579.html
Read it, and if you still have questions, just ask away!

No worries, it's not easy finding anything here when the categories are gone. Rumour has it that they'll return soon, but that might be just a myth.

going to juliard: too much
spending time with the best musicians ever: more than can be imagined
learning that all that time is useless unless you apply it to your playing and life: priceless
