Well, I had one of the old Pandora PX2's, and I gotta say i really liked it for the money. It's the greatest headphone amp I ever had, with lots of studio effects to mix in... I liked sitting out on my porch with this thing.
I myself have just ordered a PX4 off Ebay, and will get it any day... so I guess we will both find out together. It's a pretty inexpensive item, relatively, and if it is even better than the PX2, than I'm sure I will like it.
It also has the cool wireless feature, so no cord hanging down from your ears while u play... i went ahead and ordered a pair of wireless headphones for the Pandora frequency off Ebay too... for $29.
I just got a Pandora PXwR 4 track for creating scratch pad ideas, and it sounds pretty damned good for $200. I'm still going through the manual though LOL!

Peace

Pandora is very good multieffect to play in home with it fasten to your belt. It doesn't have floorboard so you cannot change channels using leg... IMO it's not comfortable to use it live...

It can play good but IMO it can't replace real amp...

- good sound quality
- small
- great for practice at home
- not comfortable to play live

If you're going to use it only for practice and home use, buy it.
If you're going to play concerts with it, forget it.

Well, my PX4 arrived, and I do like it... lots of cool sounds, possibly good to record with, and great with the wireless headphones.
Using it for gigs though... same old story. The louder you get with this digitalstuff, they start sounding not so good.
Another GREAT practice feature, however, is the drum patterns to play along with... even better than a metronome for developing your chops with an articulate and precise meter.

peace
