Post How to remove dust of pickups? 
How can I remove dust off the pickups safely on my RG321MH?

what kind of dust ?

if its just normal dust ...wipe it off with a soft cloth.

Or use one of those pressurized air cans for a good dusting.

q-tips and rubbing alchohl allows you to get into crevices and nook and the alchohol evaporates immedietly so it is safe for elecytonics

Are you insane? Great way to accidentally scratch your finish. Oh....you were joking, ok.

Best way to remove dust from a guitar under the strings, from the headstock, and inside the p/u cavities, is to go to your local hardware store and pick up a fine, soft-bristle paint brush (typically around $10-$20). If there are metal shavings stuck to your pick-up poles, you might be able to get them off with compressed air.
