Thinking about picking up a TS-808, but I'm not sure how much it will help.

I'm using a THD HotPlate w/ my Mark IV so I'm wondering if an overdrive would be redundant.

Anybody using this set-up?

Thoughts?

i use a dr.z airbrake with my peavey Vtm60, jackson jg2, peavey triumph 60, marshall 2205, and my sovtek mig 60 without any stomp boxes.

the hotplate should be about the same as the airbrake.....that amp should scream when you push it !

if you need a bit more UMMMPH , try the tube screamer.....it cant hurt to try it.
