Post Help!
Guys I have a problem that I haven't encountered before with my amp.
Please help if you can.

I was playing my peavey classic 50 on the lead channel with the volume at about 2, and in the middle of a lick it just decided to quit. The power is still on so I don't think its a fuse. I just have no sound coming out even on the clean channel. Also when I turn the volume more it just makes a hissing noise like when your Cable goes out on TV. Is this a tube failure or something else?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

This is going to sound really stupid but somehow my cord had come halfway out of my amp and that was the problem. I don't know how it happened but I was just double checking everything and found it. My guess is that my 3 year old snuck into my music room.
