Wow, I just got a hold of a 1962 Hagstrom bass. This this is so cool. Of course, I had to go in and clean up all of the wiring, etc, but it gets a great sound. The neck is narrow, slightly wider than a Strat neck. It gets an amazing mid range tone which is really good for a CD I'm working on where the bass needs to be heard. Anyone else have any Hagstrom basses? It has a red acrylic face plate that is unique to Hagstrom. I'll try to post some photographs this week.
