 Guitar to nu metal(Slipknot)
I'm gonna buy new guitar. Now I have B.C. Rich Warlock Bronze. I tune my guitar into drop B. I like Warlock's shape but my guitar isn't good enough for me... What do you reccomend??
I've forgotten... I have 800 $ for its...

Do not write 2 notes succeeding...

It can be good for you. I don't like B.C. Riches so much becouse of wood... They are made of exotic mahogany - nato and simmilar stuff...

Cort KX1 - this guitar is great in nu tones and rather cheaper than 800$... If you want tune down good idea can be a baritone guitar. Epiphone has really good baritone Les Pauls.

Gibson made a student Guitar called a Sonex 180, which is a Les Paul style guitar, that can be bought cheaply for between $200 to $500 or so. it's a "reisin wood" body (plastic composite with a wood core) and the cheapest guitar Gibson sold at the time.
i have one, the sound brutal and they play great. they also have a kneck like a baseball-bat, which is a plus if you tune down. my guitar is curently set to C# and i have had to do a truss rod adjustment in a good long time.
if you can find one of these (i saw a decent one on ebay this morning) you'd still have money left over to tke it to a reputable store and have it set up professionally and money to throw some pick-ups in. (i've kept the pick-ups original in mine, a little muddy for the stage, but it kills in studios)
have the truss rod adjusted if you are going to tune down.
after that you would still probably have beer and cigarette money, for a while.
sorry about all the typos,
to clarify: they are cheap, sound great, and can be tuned down.

I'd either get some Epiphone Les Paul Custom or a Gibson Les Paul BFG and buy some thicker strings for it. You'd have to make some adjustments along the way, but the Les Paul has the bass and resonance that make it good for metal. Also I would recommend a neck-thru BC Rich. I have a NJ Bich and it's built for metal.

I think that guitars with short, gibson's scale aren't good in low tune... My friend have Ibanez RG7321 and RG7620 - he plays nu metal. These guitars are made for it! Check them out

7 can be a good idea but it's hard to find mahogany ones(I don't think it's necessary ). Moreover, it's not hard to buy used 7 string B.C. Rich

I have an ESP MII that I used for Death metal/Grind back in the 90's, and a few months ago I've menaged to a couple LTD (the cheaper versions of ESP) just to compare with my own, and I was realy impressed how good it sounded and felt playing them.
Cant really tell if they all sound equal, but it might be worth to check them out.
Cheers
