Well every guitarist have his idol, a man that you always wanted to be like, an inspiration that kept you going when you thought you will never learn this technique or this riff. Who are they?

I always wanted to have that freedom in playing like Steve Vai has. His guitar playing is amazing - by only seeing him play you can feel all the energy and it also seems so easy when he's doing it. His technique is perfect but he isn't just some another shredder - there's always something in his music.
