If in fact, all they do is solo. They could just not be any good at writing rhythms, but if they try then what can you do.

on the other hand ....if all you can do is NOT play solo's , wouldnt THAT be boring as well ?

and who says a solo cant be a song ? ..and why cant a riff be a solo ?

its all music....notes , chords , noises .....any of it CAN be interesting or boring.

its up to the player to do something WORTH paying attention to.
