 Dean Vendetta 4.0
Hi all.
For what kind of music is this guitar for? It looks great. Does someone know something about it's pickups? I'm gonna buy this Dean soon... but first I'd like to hear your opinion about this stuff.

IMO Deans are good guitars... Well finished, with extra sound . Vendetta is rather high model and you can be sure that you won't buy shit... The only minus is abominable headstock...

Pickups are Deans... IMO they're pretty good . Dean makes good guitars in them price. I love Cadillacs - for comfort, finish and shape . This Vendetta could be good guitar but what music do you play?? IMO to metal it needs stronger ones...

Firstly, guitar must sounds!!! This Dean sounds
Moreover, guitar must be comfortable but this is only your own case...
In the end guitar must be beautiful and I swear that Vendetta 4.0 looks excellent

I have to take a closer look at it. Maybe they will have it in local music shop soon. Then I'll be able to play it and check if it is comfortable for me or not.

I would have to disagree. I have owned several mid-priceline Dean guitars, all of which played wonderfully and sounded just fine. I still own one of the few Psychobilly's that made it out of the shop with the bigsby-type tremolo, and I have to say, it is one of the most unique sounding guitars I have ever played.
Dean did go through some "growing pains" a few years ago and they did have some quality control issues. As far as what I have seen personally and have heard, all of those problems have since been resolved. Personally I had issues with 2 of their guitars I ordered direct, a baby ML for my son that arrived with a split neck, and an EVO xm with a dead bridge pickup. both were replaced in a matter of days without question. Dean provides excellent customer service. I think the only problem the guys at Dean have these days is they can't pump those guitars out fast enough . Aside from the whole Dimebag Bandwagon, I don't think the demand for Dean guitars would be what it is if they made crappy products.

Dean's are basically just metal guitar..too much flash for me..I really don't like the guitar either..I hear they're on the level of a schecter..plus they made a Flying V acoustic..now that's just stupid

I myself am interested in getting a Vendetta 4 floyd. The Vendetta 4 that comes with the locking bridge has Dimarzio super distortion pickups.
