 d-tuning
I heard that there is an effect that can acctualy make your guitar sound like d-tuned one but I can't find any info about it. I know what does octaver do and it ain't what I'am looking for can any one help me?

I agree... If U have a guitar with floydrose U can buy 'D-Tuna'(the same was used by EVH). Unfortunately, this stuff makes that U cannot use bridge to make sound higher...

If you don't have a floydrose you can buy D-tuner

Most multieffects units have a d-tuned selection. The Boss GT-4 on up had this effect. The Zoom floorboard unit has it. The Pod has it and so on. If you just want to do Drop D tuning on the fly, you can get a D-Tuna device I forget who makes it but it will work with most bridge setups. Once installed, you flip the lever one way it's standard tuning, flip the other way it's drop D.

I use a Hipshot D-tuner (Guitar Extender). It works great if you don't have a locking nut. I've had mine for 15 years, and never had a problem.

fender made a guitar that changes the tuning by itself without you even have to touch the tuning machines i think its called the vr strat you should look it up its really cool

drop d tuning guitars with locking tuners i find are the best....i have the evh d tuner...but im not going to use it......i like my original floyds the way they are.....

yeah dude, buy a variax guitar by line6, you can make your own patch with whatever tuning you want and just turn the pot when you want that tuning! have a load of different tunings, have fun. i think its an incredible guitar, awsome for studio work!!!
