Anyone know anything about this amp?

It's a digital amp. It has a very nice clean tone, and some bite on the distortion. Just be careful with the distortion, it tends to feedback if cranked alot (buy a distortion pedal to help solve this problem.) Also it has some effects built into it, whic is a nice add on.

A buddy of mine in school has one, and I liked it. I don't know too much about it, but what I've written above is what I know.

Cool. I already have a good clean amp, but I'm really keeping my eye out for a good high gain, heavy chugga lugga amp.

they are... crates. imo at least

i have never liked them, but I played on a friend of mine's and that thing was a beast.

still not sold on them. lol

crates are what they are......i am not a fan either.
BUT....if you find one that lets you get THAT tone...then get it.
forget the name on the front, trust your ears.

tone is all that matters.....not pretty,status symbol amps and guitars.

true.....but that outside the box thinking is what we need !
everybody makes the "same old stuff"....most of it is (if you trace it back far enough) based on the fender bassman,which was based on a RCA(i believe) radio !

i am working with a pal of mine to design and (hopefully) build our own tube amps that are not based on an old radio.
IF we can ever finish it.....we will be able to have that super overdriven tone at any volume.
without power attenuators...pedals...digital..ect. it will be pure tube tone baby.

and let me add...that will be a mighty big IF , with neither one of us being an electrical engineer....LOL
