mmm i could use one of those
and i love my line6 spider 2 but the only thing is....it has no stereo output...so i cant put my multieffects pedal to use at all because the amps signal screws up the pedals signal
oh well

that's awesome.
there's someone out there playing a synth that is more out-dated technology than mine is.

Oh yeah! This thing has exactly enough stuff to be fun for me!

currently i'm playing on a Korg X-5, (released about 1995, i think) which i've come to really like. i love old synths.

they probably wouldn't be up to creating a "Synth" section of the site, would they do you think?
i could tak shit about old synths all day, i mean there's a section for basses.

hell yeah!
who is he?
i spent a couple hours this morning looking up repair shops and getting advice online on how to go about fixing my DX-7, but if i could get an actual discussion with somebody that has done repair on a synth, that would be the bees knees. i'm not exactly the most technologically astute person in the world. my eyes start to glaze in a lot of discussion of semiconductors and transistors.
we need a synth board, it would probably draw some new blood into the site.

thing is, this is a guitar site, not a synth site. granted, you could start a thread and keep it synth only and we can watch it for non-synth posts. but on this board, i don't think it would happen. though i wouldn't mind learning a bit more about synths myself

yeah, but.... i mean we already have a group of people here anyway, so we could just put it in a n off topic section.

fair enough i guess, i would just think it would draw more people with its own sub-topic. i suppose it doesn't matter.
i'm going to try to hit a store soon and i'll report back if i see anything cool.
