Anyone else a fan of these?I use the L 500 xl they slice threw a mix

i've never heard of them. what are they designed for? and are they hum or singles?

I've been using lawrence 500xl pups since my hair metal days in the 80s. Absolute monsters. Even threw one on a 20 year year old Kramer Voyager. Dropped the tuning down a step . . . my main practice guitar. Ozzy's Perry Mason . . . pinch harmonics and all . . . sounds awesome. The only pup that rivals my lawrence is gibson's 500T. Brutal!

They are passive humbuckers and are good for heavy stuff I hear.

I will be getting one for my next guitar. My current guitar has EMG 81 and 85 and they cost a bit of money so I don't think I want to remove the 81 for the 500xl. My next guitar will get the 500xl in it though.

I have 2 L500's in 2 different guitars, one is in the neck of an Ibanez S with an SH-4 in the bridge, and I have one in an RG(something) in the neck and a ToneZone in the bridge. I don't really like having the L500 in the bridge, it's too muddy for my taste, but I have to admit, the ToneZone could easily be just a tiny bit less muddy with heavy distortion.

I like having the L500 in the neck, but it's just my personal opinion
