Post Best digital amp for blues?
Just wondering if anyone could tell me some digital amps that have a good blues/classic rock distortion on them. At the moment i'm using a line 6 spider 2 212, and to be honest it's crap! lol

Cheers

Why do you want digital amp?? Spider is't so good, Line 6 Vetta is better but IMO there's nothing better than classic amp. Try Peaveys Classic and Valveking Smile . I think that they should be good blues and rock - Classic might be better in this situation.

you could probably search for years and not find a good digital amp for blues. Nothing can replace the real thing. Tube amp (i prefer fender, but Peavey makes some good ones now) with a tubescreamer and a crybaby, with a strat plugged in = pure blues sound.

If you don't want to invest in a tube amp, look at some pedals (Boss blues driver or Boss FDR-1-based on the Fender Deluxe Reverb tube amp)
