 Bass Amp with a guitar?
sooooo, ...I really like the simplicity of bass amps
and I like the way my guitar sounds through some of them.
so I was wondering is it bad for a bass amp to use a high Gain Guitar Signal?

i ran my guitar into a boss distortion into an ibanez bass amp combo for a few months, i didn't notice any serious damage, but sometimes it felt like it was ruining the speaker. it was a crappy amp anyways.

soooo, the amp I really want is a Mesa/Boogie Express 5:50, or maybe a hot rod deville........ but they are both extremely expensive.
I guess I'm just trying to find an alternative.

but you obviously want a tube amp, right?
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/B52-60Watt-1x12-Tube-Combo?sku=480046
most features most power yadayada in this price range, will work perfectly for high gain rock and blues, all tube, and an extremely sweet deal.
plus it's made in the usa

Yeah, Viktor and I both bought the B-52 AT-100 half stack and we both love them. I'd recommend them to anyone.

Closed back, full size, mono/stereo switchable. Low lows, crisp highs. It's the best cab I've ever owned.
