That may have been Tom Paxton’s guitar.

Anyone remember the airline that broke his guitar? (Anyone remember Tom Paxton?)

He had a song called something like “Thank you for breaking the neck of my guitar”

I Googled him, but didn’t find the song. I did find this:
Tom Paxton's song: "Thank You, Republic Airlines, For Breaking the Neck of My Guitar". He still performs it on a regular basis... good indication of the hazards of offending a bard.

It was on a web site with help for traveling with a guitar.

He claims that when "Trigger" kicks the bucket, he will retire, but I think it's an act. That thing has had a foot in the kindling box for 20 years at least. How many "Trigger's" do you think their are? Weren't there something like 10 "General Lee's" on Dukes of Hazard?

I got some good news on my guitar case yesterday. The airline shipped it to their luggage repair center, but somehow they lost it. That’s a no questions asked replacement for the case.

And then I asked “But you still have the guitar… Right?” After a moment of panic from the appeasement engineer I yelled “YOU LOST A $7,000.00 GUITAR?”Image

I kill me!

I really do!!!

My friend was a baggage handler for a while...Hes got a collection of tags and coins that supposedly fell off people bags...But yea, he says they got real dodgey people at baggage handling (like him for instance)
Im an optimist, so naturally I like to think my head is half FULL.
