Acoustic or electro-acoustic and 300$ in wallet :P
I'm looking for acoustic guitar but I've never had one. I don't know how much cost good ones so I don't know if I can buy good electro version . What do you think 'bout this?? Whitch concerns produce good acoustics??

Epiphone are the best cheap accustics I have ever seen, my friend got one AJ something... and it costed about 200 $. I heard that Salobrena's are alright too but you will have to check it very cerfully before buying coz this bradn has a nasty habbit of making totaly different guitars despite that it's the same model really

Yes, in cheap guitar series it is possible that one exemplage is great, other is crap. You should go to big music shop and try to play few guitars of the same model

In my opinion Yamaha is an excellent guitar for an awesome price. I myself started learning guitar on an old Yamaha and the big booming sound was what kept me going back to Yamahas after I decided to buy another guitar. I find problems with hardware on lower priced A/E guitars which is usually cheap to repair but annoying after a few times. Its all on you though, your prefrence, the tone you like, the wood, the action, everything; so try out several guitars before you make a decision on the one you like best. You also always have the choice of mic'ing up your guitar so you dont necessarily need an electric outlet but then again thats your pref. If you have an amp and find an A/E you really like go for it!

well, if you're never going to plug it into an amp then there's no point in getting it also in electric. plus, you can get a semi-good acoustic with that. go for something Fender. i would

I would jsut go to a store and play a bunch, my biggest recommendation is just a fresh set of D'darrio Phosphor bronze Light gauge strings. I tend to like Alvarez and Takamine.

YES! i have played for 33 years (yep, since i was 5) and all throughout my life i have spent more money than i can recount on guitars. 1 of the best guitars i ever had (and still have) cost me (sit down for this) $180, complete with case. it's an ALVAREZ RD8. i would HIGHLY RECOMMEND it - i'm looking for ANOTHER i love it so much.
it all depends on what feels good to you - so everyone's going to have their own opinions.

I have an Alvarez AD60K that cost about $300. When I was an electric player I was always wanting another, different electric. I have never wanted another acoustic.

i'd say go out and canvas a lot bro before buying something... test the guitar and then weigh in the price... but sometimes it's reality that you have to pay the price of the one you really want... no regrets just rock on...
