 60's Fuzz
I am looking for a fuzz pedal that gives a real mid 60's fuzz sound, sort of like in the Stone's "(I Can't get No) Satisfaction." I haven't checked a lot, but what I have heard gives more of a heavy metal distortion sound than the chntzy 60's sound.
Any suggestions?

 60's fuzz
I think the best one was the old Maestro fuzz box, my step-dad had one and it was way "Austin Powers" sounding!

I saw in my book a 60s original Dallas/Arbiter Fuzz Face. I don't know if you can still find it on the market today but it'd be cool.

I have one of theese babies
EH Big muff is ace fun!
Another way of gettingh a good fuzz tone is to select the neck pickup and roll the tone control back. If you do this with an already overdriven amp or a with a standard overdive pedal youl get a good fuzz tone.
I read it somewhere and was surprised at how good it sounded.

the DOD Classic Fuzz is a great fuzz pedal that gives a little more of a thinner fuzz sound than the EH muff... so would probably be quite suited to what you want.
