Anyone got any information on Fender Stratocasters that are made in Japan. My friend has one and I can't seem to find any.

Yeah I have three Jap Strats and I love em.

mine is about 20 years old and is a double single double with 5 way and a floyd rose trem. fender custome shop paint etc.....ohhh yeah call her "BABY" and love it, never gona let her gooooooooo! ! ! !

MIJ Strats sre really good guitars. Well finished, they have good pickups(neck single coils in my friends MIJ is one of the best I've heared). IMO they're guitars 'for ages'... If there is humbucker in bridge position guitar can be used in every kind of music

yeah mine has a hummer at the neck and a hummer at the bridge and a single in the middle.......soon as i can get a pix of my stuff im going to post in the proper places.

I have one, black with white pick guard, 3 single coils, perfect condition. from early 90s. has a floyd rose trem. if u want one i'm thinking of selling, i just don't use the floyd rose enough to make it worthwhile. but if you just want information on them, IMO they're beautiful instruments... sound hot, nice to play, what more could you ask?

The jap strat go for pretty good money just like the mex strat do these days they play better then the usa ones

the old Jap Strats are nice guitars.
a friend of mine has a couple, and i like them a lot.
