Post Metal Muff W/ Top Boost
One last question before I go to bed, I'm getting ready to buy the Metal Muff with Top Boost. What do you think of it and do you think its worth the money. If not, what would be? What would you advise me to get (for the same amount of money)?

I'm into playing all types of rock, anywhere from Zeppelin to Hendrix to Van Halen to Guns N' Roses to Kiss. I love hard rock. I'm into more of the older stuff though, not a big fan of most modern rock. Whenever I solo however, i use a very blues technique only still with my hard rock tones. I'm looking to fill my sound all around. I don't feel like my tone gets enough, how do I say this, UMF! It does have enough PUNCH to it, I want a more powerful feeling to my sound, whether its a simple power chord or single note leppelin riffs.

Thanks for your time.

that is a kick ass pedal, it's definitely worth the money. the umf soemtimes needs to come from your amp, what are you using?

that. its pretty good. i definately feel like there's some umf and some real grit and power missing from my sound. that is, i'm pretty sure i need more of it for the sound i want. i've never actually had it before, but thats what i'm gearin' towards.

if you want a bunch of sweet distortion sounds get that, i have the rack mount version and i can go to it every day and find a new distortion. if you want some serious umf you need a tube amp, but there are ways around that i suppose.
