also we now require a new logo, for example, we wanted somthing like hard snow falling at a \ angle with the whole band itr matching eskmo suits int eh middle of freezing nowhere, and we all have our instruments. is this a good idea? also, could there be any help with this? would really be appreciatied THANK you...

any common feedback or tips would be helpful, btw is there any way i can change my name?

i think Below Zero works... but you could use a few of those at the same time for various things. my band's name is 701 but we spell it out sometimes... seven o one. whatever feels best to you guys.

and as for the logo idea, you should get something with just the name and use that idea you had for a killer picture. because i guarantee at some point, you'll want to change it. get a logo that will stay the same for as long as you are a band

well her are two, the first oen would require A LOT of touch up work and such which we dont really like how detaile dit is.

this one... numero dos, is really what we prefer more rolling stones simplicity like... yet still deep compelling and mysterious...



thats the one we less prefer (but its always the fan feedback that matters)

those don't really feel like logos... more like graphics with the band name in front... you know?

Something that's good to do is take the name and make it in a DEFINED text graphic that you can use as a branding.

Talk to some graphic designer friends that you might have and see what kind of ideas they come up with. Remember, also, that your first ideas won't be your best... wait and see what comes out. Ideally, you'll keep this logo for a long time and it'll be your BRAND.

The whole "cold" thing is the very first thing that pops into your head, and where sometimes that can be a good thing, for this purpose, I think it's a bit too cliche. You could go the emo route..."Like we are so low, we are below zero", but you said you wanted to shy away from the Emo stuff. So brainstorm a few more metaphors....

Below Zero:

Mathematics
Digital/Computer programing (binary impossibilities)
Latitude/Longitude
Topographical depth (sea level...below zero is below sea level)

Now, just as an example, take a look at this:



I only spent about 10 minutes on it, but as you can see, it strays away from the typical and cliche. And yes, I am a graphic designer, so you can be comfortable knowing that I do have a bit of a clue of what I'm talking about.

You may steal this from me if you like it. Like I said, 10 mins = no biggie.
